FORMATION

Accreditation of a foreign legal entity’s Representative office in Russia takes place at the State Registration Chamber with the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. A Representative office may be opened only in accordance with the resolution of the accreditation authority. Accreditation is available for 1, 2 or 3 years and may be prolonged if required. A Representative office receives establishment permission.

 

PROCEDURE

Accreditation of a Representative office in the territory of RF consists of several procedures:

- accreditation in the State Registration Chamber;
- registration with the tax authority (FTS of Russia);
- assignment of international economic activity codes (RNCEA);
- registration with non-budgetary funds (PFRF, SIF);
- opening of an account in a bank and registration of a stamp for the Representative office.
